Ingredients

  • 0.75 lb ground beef
  • 1 tbsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tbsp sofrito or 2 cloves garlic, ¼ onion, and ¼ bell pepper finely minced
  • 1 tsp adobo
  • ½ tsp sazon
  • ½ tsp salt
  • ¼ tsp black pepper
  • 2 bread rolls
  • ¼ cup chimi sauce
  • Cabbage finely shredded
  • Tomato sliced
  • Red onion sliced

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine beef, soy sauce, worcestershire sauce, sofrito, adobo, salt, and black pepper. Shape burger patties slightly bigger than size of rolls and set aside.
  • In a grill or pan or medium heat, cook the patties until browned on both sides and fully cooked, or about 6-14 minutes depending on what kind of cook you prefer on your burger.
  • Assemble the chimi by drizzling chimi sauce on the bottom bun and layering the patty, cabbage, tomato, red onion, another drizzle of chimi sauce, and the top bun. Serve warm. Buen provecho!
